Locations Module
Options
The 3-dot menu to the side of a locations module has several important options affecting the front-end display:
- Title: A single line heading appearing before the locations
- Leading Content: Rich text content appearing between the title and the locations, like on a Content Area
- Trailing Content: Another rich text content area appearing after the locations
- Number of items to display: Change this number to limit the number of items shown
Locations
Click the Add button to add a location. Once on the Add page, there are several fields required for a location:
- Title: A single-line label for this location
- Address: The entire mailing address, e.g. 1143 Oak Ridge Turnpike Suite 204, Oak Ridge, TN 37830
- Phone: Optional
- URL/Website: Optional, the entire web address, e.g. https://www.trademarkads.com
- Description: A rich text description of this location including images, links, and any other text like a Content Area.
When more than one location has been entered, an up/down grab handle allows you to change the display order.
On a Page
The Locations module shows the Title, a Google Map centered on the location(s), the locations in order, and a Get Directions form.
The Get Directions form asks for an address as street, city, state, and Zip code. When Get Directions is clicked, the given address, the step-by-step directions, and the destination are shown. The map also updates with the travel path.
