Banner Image

 

Banner Images are large, wide, visual separators. They allow a break between content areas or can be related to the next module giving a mental lead up to next part of the page.

To be effective as visual separators, images uploaded as banner images should be wide, not overly tall, and high enough resolution to look good on an HD or even 4K screen.

Adding a Banner Image

Simply drag and drop an image file onto the banner image module and it will be uploaded and saved as given. Once it has uploaded, the image will load in replacing the upload prompt.

Adjusting a Banner Image

Full-Width: This spans the entire width of the browser window, extending as far as possible to the left and right.

Content-Width: This spans only as wide as the content of a page while keeping reasonable margins. This is less visible in mobile, but is very apparent when viewed in a large browser window on a widescreen monitor.

Re-Crop: Banner Images should stay landscape, but because they scale to fit horizontally, they can be cropped to any size or shape.
