Page Header

Page Headers are large banner images at the top of a page and are one of the first elements on a page a visitor will see. While a fallback image applicable to any page will step in when needed, it is better to have an image relevant to key pages, a photo or graphic that wordlessly conveys their purpose.

These are integrated into the homepage and subpage design. So, visually, it only matters whether this module is on the page, not its placement among the other modules.

Adding a Page Header

Drag and drop image files onto the Add button to seamlessly add several page headers at once. These images will be automatically cropped to fit, but can be manually re-cropped by clicking the Edit icon on that image and then the re-crop icon on the thumnail.

To add a page header while filling out extra information such as title, short description, or making it into a link, just click or tap the Add button.

Page Header Details

Title: A text label for the image, displayed in an overlay or when hovering the image, based on design.
Link URL: This makes the page header a clickable link.
Button Text: When provided, adds a clickable button with this text linking to the URL.
Meta Title/Hover Text: Allows the button to have hover text which can provide a longer description.

Cropping

When finished, click Add and the next page will allow you crop the image. To fit in the design, Page Header images have a specific aspect ratio, so only a selected portion can be shown. Click and drag to select the best region; the selection itself can be dragged around to include edges and corners more easily.
